Coronado has given so much to my family over the past four decades. Serving this community has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

As your City Councilmember, I'm committed to protecting our neighborhoods, strengthening our public services, addressing environmental challenges, and preserving the unique character that makes Coronado unlike anywhere else.

Priorities

Coronado has been my home for nearly 40 years. It is an extraordinary community and keeping it that way requires thoughtful leadership, sound judgement and a willingness to tackle both today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.

As your Councilmember I have worked to protect our quality of life, strengthen public safety, address the cross-border sewage crisis, invest responsibly in our infrastructure, support local businesses, preserve our community character and safeguard taxpayer dollars.

Protecting Our Beaches & Environment

Clean water, healthy beaches, and strong advocacy at every level of government are essential. My first vote as your newest Councilmember was to declare an Emergency Declaration addressing the cross-border sewage crisis. I will continue to fight for a solution, accurate monitoring, clear warnings, and a healthy coastline.
Public Safety

I support our Police and Fire Departments and believe they must have the staffing, training, equipment, and resources they need to keep our community safe. Prevention, education, and preparedness are key to reducing risks and responding effectively in an emergency.
Fiscal Responsibility

I will continue to support balanced budgets, strong reserves, prudent investments, and careful long-term planning. A healthy reserve allows the City to respond to emergencies and economic uncertainty without sacrificing essential services. We must spend wisely and plan ahead.
Investing in Coronado’s Infrastructure

From streets and parks to utilities and public buildings, our infrastructure requires continual investment. I will champion strategic, well-managed capital improvement projects that protect our neighborhoods and prepare Coronado for the future.
Supporting Local Businesses

Local businesses create jobs, support our schools and organizations, and give Coronado its small-town character. I will be a partner and advocate for a strong, vibrant business community and encourage everyone to shop and dine locally.
Preserving Our History & Community Character

Our history, architecture, and neighborhoods make Coronado unique. I will continue advocating for thoughtful planning that preserves our historic resources and neighborhood character while meeting responsibly planned growth.
Housing & Local Control

We must plan responsibly for housing while protecting our infrastructure, historic resources, and community character. I will advocate for policies that give local leaders the flexibility to meet our goals while respecting Coronado’s unique constraints.
E-Bike & Traffic Safety

E-bikes are here to stay and safety must come first. I support stronger education, enforcement, age-appropriate regulations, and responsible riding to protect riders, pedestrians, and drivers of all ages.
Quality of Life

Parks, recreation, arts, libraries, and community programs bring us together. I will continue supporting the amenities and traditions that make Coronado such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
